Appalachian Treble Choir to Perform April 28, May 2

BOONE–The Appalachian State University Treble Choir will perform on Sunday, April 28, at 8 p.m. in the Rosen Concert Hall in Broyhill Music Center.

They also will perform Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Boone.

The Treble Choir is directed by Priscilla Peebles and accompanied by Eleanore Manley. The program for both concerts will include “There is a Green Hill Far Away,” “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desire,” “O Swallow, Swallow,” “Raindrop Prelude, Op. 28, No. 15,” “Country Gardens,” “Shenandoah,” “Dear What Can the Matter Be?,” “Douglas Mountain,” “A Girls Garden,” “In Flanders Fields” and “May the Road Rise to Meet You.”

Also performing is the Triple Trio, made up of Treble Choir members Jennifer Aune, Elisabeth Cheek, Sarah Coffey, Tara Holt, Emily Miller, Sarah Odgers, Cassia Aimms, Crystal Thomas and Alison Voss.

The Triple Trio will perform “The Mouse Madrigal,” “Over the Rainbow” and “In the Good Old Summer Time.”

Admission is free.
