Appalachian Chorale Begins Rehearsals on Sept. 9

BOONE–The Appalachian Chorale at will begin rehearsals on Sept. 9.

Rehearsals will be held every Monday from 7-9 p.m. in Room 214 of the Broyhill Music Center at Appalachian State University.

This semester, the chorale will perform Daniel Pinkham’s “Christmas Cantata” with brass accompaniment, John Rutter’s “Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day,” “The Twelve Days AFTER Christmas,” a comical version of the familiar song, and other holiday selections.

The concert will be Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. The chorale is a 100-voice group open to Appalachian faculty, staff and students, as well as community members. No audition is required.
