Williams Inducted Into ETSU Alumni Hall of Fame

BOONE–Harry L. Williams of Boone has been inducted into East Tennessee State University College of Education’s Alumni Hall of Fame.

Williams is associate vice chancellor for diversity at Appalachian State University. Williams earned an Ed.D. in educational leadership and policy analysis from East Tennessee State University in 2002. He also has a B.S. in communication broadcasting, a M.S. in educational media, an Ed.S. in higher education from Appalachian.

Williams was interim director of admissions at North Carolina A&T from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that he was an assistant director of admissions at Appalachian.

He also is an associate consultant for Noel-Levitz, a national consultation firm used by colleges and universities for enrollment management solutions.

Williams is married to Robin Williams, an assistant professor in the Department of Technology and coordinator of the department’s graphic arts and imaging technology program. They have two sons.
