Applications Accepted for Staff Scholarship

BOONE—Appalachian State University’s Staff Council Scholarship Committee is accepting applications for the Chuck and Robin deKrafft Staff Scholarship.Three $250 scholarships will be awarded for spring semester.

New Play Festival Presented Nov. 30-Dec. 3

BOONE – Appalachian State University’s annual New Play Festival, which celebrates student, staff and faculty playwrights, will be presented Nov. 30-Dec. 3 in I.G. Greer Studio Theatre.

Hall Receives NCAEA Service Award

BOONE— Ralph Hall, a professor of leadership and educational studies at Appalachian State University, received the North Carolina Adult Education Association Service Award.

African Roots of the Banjo Discussed Dec. 6
