Solar thermal technology workshop offered Oct. 4

BOONE – Explore practical ways to harness the sun’s energy, including applications for water and space heating, on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at Appalachian State University.

The free event is open to the public and will be held in Kerr Scott Hall’s Room 17.

The workshop will focus on what solar thermal technology is and how it works, as well as running a solar thermal business. Presenters will be graduate student Joe Hallock, with special guests Kent Hively and Adam Sacora of Appalachian Energy Solutions. Hively and Sacora are both Appalachian alumni.
