Treble Choir performs Dec. 3 at Appalachian

BOONE—The Hayes School of Music’s Treble Choir performs Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall at Appalachian State University. Admission is free.
The all-woman ensemble is directed by Priscilla Porterfield. The accompanist is Hannah Price.

The program includes “The Poet Sings” by  Z. Randall Stroupe, “The Laughing Song” by Lloyd Pfautsch, “Alleluia” by Randall Thompson and “The Mighty Power of God” arranged by Mark Hayes.

Treble Attraction, an octet vocal ensemble, will perform a variety of selections.

The program concludes with holiday arrangements of “Listen to the Lambs,” “This Little Babe” and “Carol of the Bells.”
