Business finance majors from Appalachian win CFA NC Society Investment Research Challenge

winners_t.jpgBOONE—Five undergraduates from Appalachian State University’s Walker College of Business won the inaugural CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) North Carolina Society Investment Research Challenge held Feb. 21 in Greensboro.

McCain wins first place award in broadcast competition

Graduate vocal quintet performs March 5 in Blowing Rock


BOONE—Quintessential!, the graduate vocal quintet in Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music, will perform Thursday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hayes Performing Arts Center in Blowing Rock. Admission is $5.

Music for horn and strings performed March 3 at Appalachian

BOONE—The Faculty Recital Series sponsored by Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music presents “An Evening of Music for Horn and Strings” Tuesday, March 3, at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall. Admission is free.
