Woodwind chamber music performed March 31 at Appalachian

BOONE—Woodwind ensembles from Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music will perform March 31 at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall. Admission is free.

The program includes the overture from Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville,” “Suite for Flute, horn, cello, and piano” by Theodore Sourilas and “Duos for Flutes, Op. 34” by Robert Muczynski.

Also on the program are “Divertimento” by Malcolm Arnold, “Quatuor” by Pierre Max Dubois and “Cripple Creek Encounter” from Catherine McMichael’s “Suite de Montagne.”
