Class gifts acknowledged at Appalachian’s homecoming

Chancellor Sheri N. Everts, center, and Susan Pettyjohn, vice chancellor for university advancement, hold a check symbolic of gifts made by members of the classes of 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974 and 1969, who celebrated their reunion year during Homecoming at Appalachian State University. The nearly $5 million given by these alumni have helped the university raise more than $197 million toward the $200 million Campaign for Appalachian, which ends in December.
